The following are contributing posts to the Yards of Grapevine website run by my friend Zac. The idea behind these was to cover five major snubs (as in not even nominated) for every active Oscar category by the time the next Oscar nominations were announced (which was Thursday January 10, 2013). Although all 24 categories weren’t published by the deadline, I had completed writing the last of the categories in my notebook a few days prior to the nominations (finding the time to type them out has been difficult), so in a way I sort of met the deadline (but not in the way I would’ve preferred). Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading about these major snubs. Also, I may write about certain individuals who were never nominated for an Academy Award (but should have been).
