Animation Corner

I haven’t devoted as much time to animated feature films as I’ve wanted to.  In order to combat this, I created Animation Corner, where I highlighted two animated films every Friday.  Some of them were well-known and some of them were not, but they were all good films that I whole-heartedly recommended.  I had two goals in mind: to highlight 100 animated films in 2013 and to learn more about animated films (especially ones that are made in other countries and are non-American productions).

I stopped in 2014 due to the time-consuming nature of putting an entry together every week, which was not as easy as it looked (when combined with creating other blog posts and working my full time job, finding the time to continue this series was extremely difficult).  I’ve decided to bring it back in 2015 as a recurring series with no specific number in mind (I just missed it too much).  My two goals are (you’ll be familiar with the first one) to learn more about animated films (especially ones that are made in other countries and are non-American productions) and to highlight two to four animated films a month (I’m hoping to post once or twice a month).  If you wish to check out Animation Corner entries by director, please check here.
