‘Zero Dark Thirty’ Nightline Report

Zero Dark Thirty, which opens in N.Y. and L.A. on December 19th, is the upcoming Kathryn Bigelow film about the decade-long manhunt of Osama Bin Laden, the mastermind of the September 11th attacks of 2001.  It features a cast that includes Jessica Chastain (who’s getting some serious awards buzz for her performance), Chris Pratt, Kyle Chandler, Joel Edgerton, Edgar Ramirez, James Gandolfini, Mark Duplass, and Mark Strong.  Recently, ABC’s Nightline aired a report where foreign correspondent Martha Raddatz talked with Bigelow (an Oscar winner for 2008’s The Hurt Locker) and screenwriter Mark Boal about the making of the film.  They also discussed the portrayal of the characters’ real-life counterparts and the intense research that was put into making the film as realistic as possible.  You can watch that video below:
