‘Hitchcock’ Sneaks Into 2012

UPDATE: Trailer now included.

Recently, it was announced that the Sacha Gervasi film Hitchcock, based on the book Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho by Stephen Rebello, would be released late this year rather than next year (it is currently set for a November 23rd release, the day after Thanksgiving).  I am really excited about this release for a few reasons.  First, I’m a big fan of Alfred Hitchcock and his films.  Second, its a movie about a real-life filmmaker during the making of one of his films (in this particular case, perhaps his most famous film).  Third, an impressive cast was assembled for this film (not to mention the fact that Danny Elfman will also write the score!).  Hopefully, the reviews will be as good as I hope, and if they are, I will be sure to catch this film or get stabbed in the shower.
